Fortuitously, the vaccination rollout in Ontario is allowing an expanding number of Ontarians to receive their COVID-19 vaccine dosage, designating that there is hope and that we are one step closer to the "new" normal.
COVID-19 vaccines are a safe and effective strategy to defend yourself. Vaccines work with your immune system to prepare it to fight the virus if you are exposed to it.
The distribution of COVID-19 vaccines is happening in stages. Ontario’s goal is to have everyone get a COVID-19 vaccine if they want one, as long as the vaccine supply permits.

Pfizer-BioNTech – approved on December 9, 2020
Moderna – approved on December 23, 2020
AstraZeneca – approved on February 26, 2021
Janssen (Johnson & Johnson) – approved on March 5, 2021
Before getting your COVID-19 vaccine, take the time to research each one about the potential positive and negative effects. Consult your local region to check if you are eligible for the vaccination, and book an appointment as early as possible.
