1) Learn a New Skill

For many of us, this is the first time in our lives that we have so much free time on our hands. For those looking to up their productivity game, it is the perfect opportunity to explore your interests and finally try out the activities that you find ourselves constantly putting off during the school year. Whether it be learning a new instrument, teaching yourself a new language, or learning how to code, there are many resources on the Internet that can put you closer to achieving your goals. Some websites that we recommend you check out are Skillshare, Masterclass and Coursera.

2) Make a Schedule!

In order to stay productive, knowing what to do and when to do it is key. At home, it can be very tempting to stay in bed all day, and endlessly scroll on social media or occupy yourself with other distractions. A routine allows you to combat these temptations and hold yourself accountable, which goes a long way towards maximizing productivity. A good routine is one that allows you to perform at your best, so it is very important that your schedule allows you to wake up feeling energized, shower, eat, and spend time with loved ones, while also setting aside a designated amount of time to be productive. For digital scheduling, we recommend using Google Calendar as it is available on all platforms and seamlessly syncs across all devices. As you build consistency in your routine, you will get one step closer to becoming a productivity master.

3) Stay Connected

Taking care of your mental health is perhaps the best way to maximize your priority. It is important to remember that quarantine does not mean self-isolation, and that staying connected with friends and family can be just what you need to destress, relax and feel human again. By using social media, Zoom, Skype, email and/or other forms of communication, you can also share ideas, collaborate with others, and work together virtually to improve each other’s lives.

Conclusion

And that’s it! The 3 effective tips discussed today will get you well on your way to making the most out of this quarantine period and ensuring that you are more prepared than ever before to tackle whatever comes your way. Stay healthy this summer!
